Here at Pickups Self Storage, we have over 20 year’s experience in looking after peoples and businesses valuables and we want to reassure you that not only are we experts, but we are experts who care. As a family run business, our ethos is to ensure that we support you in providing the best self-storage facility in not only Leeds but in Yorkshire.

Along the way, we have a lot of questions that customers have but below are a few that come up time and time again, so to help you make a well-informed decision about whether to store items with us or not – please read on.

How can I pay? – You can pay us with cash, card, standing order or cheque.

How much notice do I need to give?
Nothing (yes we said nothing) we just ask you to inform us when you are leaving.

What do I need to bring with me to take out a storage container?
We require you to bring photographic ID and a recent utility bill.

Do you supply me with a padlock?
No unfortunately this isn't included in the price, we do sell padlocks or you can supply your own and we can advise of what type is best if you need guidance.

Are my goods insured?
Insurance isn't included, but this can be arranged and can happily help.

Do you give a discount?
Yes, we do we give a discount for payments made in advance for 3, 6 and 12 months.

What sizes do you offer?
We offer a variety of sizes starting from 36 square foot storage containers to units up to 5000 square foot.

How do I get my good onto the first floor?
Our staff will forklift your goods up to the first floor (during office open hours).

Do you offer removals?
No, unfortunately, we don't offer this service although we can give you details of removal companies that know our site.

When are you open?
Our site is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Our office is open from 7pm till 4pm Monday to Friday and 7pm to 12pm Saturday.On site staff are available office hours only.

Do I need to pay a deposit?
We don't require a deposit just your rent to pay a month in advance.

What is the minimum term?
We don't specify a minimum term just that you pay a month in advance and will offer refunds on full weeks unused.
